Let’s Embrace Our Midnight Blues. {Poem}

Midnight meditation

“No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it,” ~ Albert Einstein

Awaken.

Pulse racing.

Jump.

Up.

Slow. Roll. Crawl.

Sit.

Breathe.

Not thinking.

Eyes open.

Staring.

Cold air on bare feet.

Midnight sky.

Not. Thinking.

Distant diamonds.

Eyes follow invisible lines of constellations.

Shaping.

Creating.

Images.

A habit.

Breathe.

Ursa minor. Polaris.

Not thinking.

Eyes focus.

Blur.

Focus.

Blur again.

Stars blend into darkness.

Eyes still open.

Breathe.

Open palm on your chest.

Thu-thump. Thu-thump. Thu-thump.

Pulse.

Not thinking.

Breathe.

Be.
