For many people, their garden is a sanctuary, somewhere to escape the stresses of modern life.
But gardens are not ours alone—we share them with insects, plants, animals and birds.
To inspire people to encourage birds into their garden, Primrose have created this infographic that shows off some of the different birds that can commonly be seen in backyards in different countries around the world.
Here are three things you can do to encourage birds to visit your garden:
· Make your garden a home: Provide birds with food, cover and fresh, clean water and birds will have a reason to keep on coming back to you.
· Fill your garden with attractive plants: These can provide food, nest sites and shelter.
· Don’t be a perfectionist: If you can leave part of your garden a little wild and as nature intended your feathered friends will be quick to show their appreciation.
