The Day That Will Never Come Again.

Shake the dust from your courage and awaken your feet with hope for this day will never come again.

“There are only two days in the year that nothing can be done. One is called yesterday, and the other is called tomorrow, so today is the right day to love, believe, do and mostly live.” ~ Dalai Lama

The sun may rise again, but we will never be as we are in this exact moment. We sometimes live with the belief that we all get a second chance with a new sunrise, but the truth of it is we will never be again as we are right now.

This day, this moment is all there is.

Although tomorrow the sun may rise over the leafy green maples, or rain may create translucent hopeful puddles along the blossoming roses—it will never be as today is.

Today is the mark of newness and of hope, with the excitement of new beginnings lingering on the edges. It is ripe for us to strike out with the desire to live in the moment for eternity.

This day has been waiting for us for quite some time and it is teasing us with the possibility that exists, waiting to bloom beneath the surface. It is free from mistakes and worry and it is begging to be unwrapped with fury and passion.

We are perfect today, we are exactly as we are meant to be and every single moment of our lives has led us to this exact moment.

We are the budding excitement in our hearts and the love of desire in our arms.

There is no putting off destiny and though tomorrow may taste sweet in the expectation that is waiting for us even if we foil up today—we shouldn’t live with the expectation that we can get a second chance at living our life.

Let us not rush into waiting for the right time, but instead choose to see this day for exactly what it is—it’s our chance.

Our chance at hope and freedom, it’s our chance to make memories that will make us smile in our sleep and the chance to have tired bodies and sundrenched skin by nightfall. It’s the moments that lay waiting for us to zealously kiss them into possibility.

The time is right to live—fully completely and unabashedly in the ultimate honeyed surrender to the moment.

Today is the day to love down to our toes, to kiss until we are breathlessly unaware that the rest of the world exists.

Today is the day to do all of those things that call to our soul that we put off, it’s time to make the phone calls we need to make and travel to the places that we need to go—it’s the time for seizing all of those ideas and wanting desires and finally make them a reality.

Today is the day to simply live, not just in the moment, but in all the moments that are presented to us.

Because today is our day and the truth of it is we won’t get another one like it.

So cast off the procrastination and the sense of reason, let it sink to the stream in the hopeful love of living in the moment. Let’s throw away our excuses and beliefs that we are inferior or the idea that we know better than the timing of the Universe. Let us leave our rationalizations and our fears by the door and venture out into the sunshine of this brilliant day with nothing more than love in our hearts and the light upon our face.

Let’s make peace with today, so that when tomorrow comes we will awaken in its tangled sensual memories.

Because this day was made for you and me and all of the spaces of wonderfulness that tickle our senses, so grab your optimism and courage and jump into the wild unknown because today is all there is.

Let’s go live in the sunshine until we can kiss the moon—and at the end of today we will know we have lived and loved in the moment as only we know how to.

For there is no tomorrow, but only today—and the truth of it is that it will never come again.
