I’ve always been fascinated by motivational videos like Nike commercials, Eric Thomas, Les Brown, and Prince Ea.

Whenever I searched for “Female Motivational Video,” the results were always the same: reels that highlighted female bodies, moving to sensual music and the inspirational message was always narrated by a man!

I’ve always connected with the message that they would convey, but the images just portrayed female bodies.

I would think to myself: “It be awesome if one day a woman delivered a powerful message that I can relate to from a female perspective.”

Well that day never came, so I decided to be that woman.

I decided long ago never to walk in anyone’s shadow. If I fail, if I succeed, at least I’ll live as I believe!

I made this video because I wanted to hear a woman spit the truth.

Ladies, we are so much more powerful than what we portray. It’s time we start reevaluating the story we are telling ourselves.

Stop being afraid of what others will think and start speaking your truth and owning your power.

Put down the selfie stick and pick up the microphone!

The purpose of this video is to show that the sexiest thing you can do is be true to yourself and follow your heart. I challenge you to get out of your comfort zone and be bold, because there’s nothing sexier than a person on purpose!
