The Three-Step Process that Reminds me it’s All Going to be Okay.

I’ve discovered a pattern: whenever I am overwhelmed, I drop into doubt.

During the construction of our studio, I found myself in a place of uncertainty so many times. I was overwhelmed, losing sight of the big picture and worrying about money.

Where before I saw opportunity, I started seeing worst-case scenarios. And from doubt, I entered into panic mode. I can’t tell you how many times we ran out of money during this project and with it, panic came.

I would spend about a day in tears, filled with frustration, cursing the day we decided to put all of our eggs in one basket. But then, suddenly, from panic I inevitably arrived at a very different place: prayer.

I would get so distraught and filled with dread that at the end of the day I would have no choice but to sit down and pray. And with prayer, the panic disappeared and the doubt vanished. And suddenly I was back to trust.

Here’s the key: after every cycle of doubt-panic-prayer, I am able to manifest everything we need.

Money drops out of the sky (I kid you not). And in ways I could have never predicted, abundance comes. It’s showed up through unexpected business deals, book contracts, and complete strangers. Within one day, we have what we need.

Recently I finally reached the realization that this cycle of doubt-panic-prayer is absolutely crucial to my ability to manifest. Without doubt, there is no panic. Without panic, there is no prayer. I need panic to arrive to get on my knees and pray! With prayer, abundance comes. Without panic, there is no prayer. Without prayer, there is no abundance. It’s just how it works!

I was texting my friend this realization yesterday and in the spur of the moment, I decided to combine panic and prayer for my own secret recipe-word.

What did I get? Pranic.

I kid you not. It’s all energy. Moving from panic to prayer to abundance and understanding the mechanics of it is the most incredible thing. And how can I be anything but grateful for the panic?

The dread, the pain…it’s all purposeful. Every challenging moment brings us forward. I’m getting better at staying present with it and with time, my moments of doubt are becoming less frequent. Abundance becomes a natural state. The universe has our backs!

All we have to do is trust the process.
