The most simple daily cleanse ever!

by on Sep 19, 2011

I learned about this cleanse from Maya Fiennes’s amazing book called ‘Yoga for real life’. Lemon acts as blood purifier and improves the body’s ability to get rid of toxins. Lemos is excellent in fighting disease that’s related to infection.

Why I voted for the first time in my life at 27 years old.

by on May 2, 2011

My views. I have never felt like I had any connection to politics and still I feel I need to force myself to be interested. Every election, people around me take time to vote for who they believe can change the world and my question was, are you kidding me, you think your little ‘X’ [...]

How to be a human being.

by on Apr 20, 2011

To each their own perspective. Learning and knowing how to be a responsible, caring and loving human being can mean so many things to so many different people therefore there is not one set way as to how we should act, make choices and do what we do everyday. What is important is that the [...]

Surfing the waves of life.

by on Apr 4, 2011

Life flows like the ocean. I just came back from Mexico and spent 8 days observing and absorbing the ocean. At 27 years old this was my first experience, and all I can say is that it spoke to me all week long. When you stare at the ocean you notice the perfect mix of [...]

5 things to change in your kitchen for a healthier life.

by on Feb 28, 2011

Photo by Joannawnuk Making changes. As I become more and more conscious of my health, what I ingest, what I put on my skin and anything else that goes onto or into my body, I feel the need to make changes. As my constitution is dominant Vata/Pitta, I often feel very impulsive and want to [...]

The car chase I entered into to save a dog’s life.

by on Feb 11, 2011

The little black thing springing between cars. I was driving down Mont-Royal street in Montreal getting ready to run some errands, when I spot far in front of me this little black springy thing shooting down the street and jumping between cars. I can’t quite make it out yet and as my eyes focus I [...]

Why I want to be rich.

by on Feb 7, 2011

When I think of being rich, and having a lot of money accessible to me either by winning the lottery or being really successful, my mind starts to go into dream mode, like anyone’s would, but most of the dream doesn’t include me, that’s the funny part. I think I was born with an immense [...]

Spring to the Rescue!

by on Jan 29, 2011

Who else if feeling like an over-inflated balloon? Spring. It’s time to take some important steps as of today to help your body and mind to feel refreshed. Usually we begin to get back into business with our health starting March or April, when it’s literally spring and February just seems like a looooooooooooooong drag. [...]

The grass is never Greener: Tips on How to Make Relationships Work.

by on Jan 25, 2011

Relationship 101. When I say the grass is never greener “somewhere else,” it’s because certain things might be better somewhere else…but other things not so much. It’s never green all over! Being in a relationship is not as easy as it looks like in the movies. In my grandparents and great grandparent’s days people stayed [...]

Change your story.

by on Jan 14, 2011

This experience called life. I think that deep down, we all hope not to suffer in our lives, because yes it’s hard and painful. FORTUNATELY, life brings us good and bad, easy and hard, fun and not so fun things to experience. Why do I say fortunately? Because the challenging parts are what help us grow [...]

My Grampa was my guru.

by on Jan 7, 2011

I hope this will be a keepsake for everyone who knew him and an inspiration to all those who didn’t. A guru is someone, who in my opinion, should teach you about life, the fun parts and the hard. Teach you deep values and how to love life, share experiences with you that you will [...]

The Elixir of Enlightenment.

by on Dec 21, 2010

Bliss in a bottle. This summer while I was enjoying a wonderful yoga retreat at Omega Institute, I had the chance to taste this wonderfully, delicious, fresh, energizing and satisfying drink called Tumeric Elixir. When I went to my last class of Kundalini Yoga I saw Gurmukh, an inspiring and beautiful Yogini savoring this delicious [...]

Stuck in the blizzard of life.

by on Dec 13, 2010

Running on adrenaline. Most of us probably think that we are pretty relaxed and that our lives are under control but if you never take time to watch your life as if you were watching a movie, by being an observer, you can’t be so sure of that. Just like fish aren’t aware of the [...]

What other people think of you is none of your business.

by on Dec 7, 2010

Who are you trying to be like? Do you incessantly question yourself about the direction you are taking in your life, the decisions you make or the person you are trying to be? From the minute we are born we are exposed to many experiences, television shows, magazines and role models that are part of [...]
