Chipotle pioneered the free-range pork market, and now, in another fast-food burrito joint milestone, Chipotle has announced that it will only use natural chicken. Which means the tasty winged ones are fed a vegetarian diet with no animal by-products, free of antibiotics and growth hormones. 60% of Chipotle’s beef is also natural, and we look forward to seeing that figure expand to 100%. And, because no burrito is complete unless it’s smothered in cheese and sour cream, all Chipotle’s dairy products are rGBH-free. Three cheers for Chipotle, proving that healthy food doesn’t always mean a monstrous price tag.
