I took this photo at the café of the Bed Bath & Beyond store on Sixth Ave. in New York City.
I found it so interesting, seeing the traditional iced drink machine with organic coffee with the USDA seal right in the middle. I found out that the café is owned by the Blue Radish Group, which operates cafes in several locations in the city, serving up organic coffee in other unexpected spots like at the Virgin Megastore. And as of June, the Group’s cafes located in Equinox Fitness Clubs are also certified by the Green Restaurant Association.
If we can find organic alternatives at places such as these, I feel like we just may be making some progress.
