Maverick? Sure…in 2000. Even up to, say, 2006. He used to be above the fray, he didn’t need to talk about his heroism, he always seemed to try to do what was right…excepting the Keating scandal. He used to be my favorite Republican since…Ike? I understand you got to run to your right, Sir, in the primary…but don’t forget who you are. I think Palin was the nail on that particular coffin.
