Cloth diapering…do it for the trees, and the babies!

First rinse out any remaining poop.

Most poop goes into the toilet during the initial diaper change,

but sometimes there’s a little left…

It may sound gross, but we put 5 million tons of untreated waste

and 2 billion tons of untreated urine, feces, plastic and paper

into landfills a year! I hope that’s not your backyard!

Cloth diapering has come a long way since the 70’s.”

Tell your parents that when they ask if you’re crazy because you’re doing cloth.

(your babies will learn their colors too)

It takes 80,000 pounds of plastic and over 200,000 trees a year to manufacture disposable diapers

for American babies alone, and untreated waste placed in landfills could contaminate ground water.

Disposable diaper advocates say that using cloth is not really better for the environment

because it uses energy.

But that makes no sense if you think about it-

The trees will tell you!

Cloth, do it for…

the babies!

Why not?
