Honda Insight is Toyota Prius Hybrid Rip-off? Cheaper? Love it.


Competition? Love it. Nothing is more all-American, more Capitalistic than ripping someone off, then underselling ’em so you can get ahead—unless you’re talking about cars. In which case we can’t seem to compete in terms of making money or creating innovative, forward-looking vehicles.


Honda is showing its new Insight hybrid, which looks remarkably similar to the Prius, at this week’s North American International Auto Show. It is smaller and less fuel efficient than the Prius, but it is expected to sell for as little as $18,000…

I don't think the performance is the same. I hope that Insight is much better than the Prius.
