Ironically, I can’t yet afford to join ’til gains a few more advertising supporters. But I hope to do so soon, and thinks it makes great financial sense for those who aren’t fighting to keep their house.

Founded by Yvon Chouinard and Craig Matthews, 1% has grown to over 1000 members since it’s launch in 2002 and has donated nearly $42 million to approved environmental non-profits.
