New issue of Yoga Journal features Washington DC yogini Faith Hunter: on newsstands now.

Faith Hunter on cover of Yoga Journal.

Just got my latest issue of YJ, yesterday, Sunday, and paged through it along with the far less-easy-to-read-in-the-tub Sunday Times. More photos of the mag cover at bottom.

From her site, FaithHunter.com:

Faith is a Washington, DC based yoga instructor who has a passion for beauty, movement, love, and soul freedom. In her quest to share her passions and eclectic yoga teaching style, Faith incorporates her Louisiana upbringing, yoga philosophy, modern mystical sounds, and the purity of breath. As a nurturing instructor, Faith infuses the principles of shraddha (faith), ishvarapranidhana (surrendering to the Divine), nada (sound), and ashima (endless/without boundaries) into each class. She has been called “Spiritually Fly” as she invokes the Divine in her teachings, and each day she encourages her classes to embrace life with passion!  Faith is also the co-owner of  SHAKTI MindBody Studio located in Washington, DC, the Director of the Shakti Yoga Teacher Training Program, freelance writer, and a  yoga podcaster.

We don’t know Faith, but we hear great things from her friend and our columnist, KB.
