Maybe i'm just sheltered but I never heard of the term "hipster" until ele. LOL . Still not entirely sure what it means……

  2. I believe it's meant to be funny, it just doesn't seem to make sense…

yeah i just lost 15 mins of my life….and i was even warned, thats the worst part of it

  4. Derives from jazz age, and Beat Generation. I talk about it's roots here, which are pretty interesting and meaningful: http://www.elephantjournal.com/2009/07/boulder-to… and help to explain the vegan, coffee, biking, old-shirt-wearing tendencies.

  5. Yah, had the quality of a great funny joke when you're half high and drunk on PBR that…doesn't quite pan out, but still has potential, the next morning when you sober up, buy the url, and work it up on your MacBook Pro.

I loved Unhappy Hipsters wayyyyyy more. http://www.elephantjournal.com/2010/02/unhappy-hi

  6. I thought it was a great idea…that didn't quite click.

  7. Hate that site. It's the death of hipsterism. That said, I can't click on it just once, it's the Pringles of web sites.
