Rick Mercer is Canada’s Jon Stewart. He’s funny, he’s all about politics. The one difference: there’s nothing he loves more than getting out there with the people.

Here, he visits the Paralympics in Whistler and Vancouver. Talk about inspiring: we all have our problems and worries…then we see these athletes who were handed a “defeat” bigger than any of my little complaints…and they’ve rocked it.

Despite, even, not getting the support they deserve, as Rick’s blog eloquently explains.
