Where Are All These People Going, And Do They Know That There is a Volcano Under the Ocean? …And Get Well Bono.g

Lately, I feel like I’m racing around and getting nothing done………………

…..it’s depressing…………

Dear friend~I woke up this morning, and realized,

that now our year has ended, there are a few things I want to say to you…

“I know a girl, she’s like the sea,

I watch her changing every day for me,

oh, yeah, oh, oh, oh, oh.

One day she’s still, the next she swells,

you can hear the universe in her sea shells….”

Moment of Surrender……..

“We set ourselves on fire
Oh God, do not deny her
Its not if I believe in love
(But) If love believes in me
Oh believe in me”

All Because Of You……….

“I’m alive
I’m being born
I just arrived, I’m at the door
Of the place I started out from
And I want back inside

All because of you, all because of you,all because of you,

…..I am”

Unknown Caller……………..

“…Shout for joy if you get the chance
Password, you, enter here, right now….”

"If someone’s into blowing up
We’re into growing up
Women are the future
All the big revelations
I’ve gotta submarine, you’ve got gasoline
I don’t wanna talk about wars between nations....Not right now"

"Only love, only love can leave such a mark,
but only love, only love can heal such a scar....
Justified, till we die you and I will magnify, oh,
magnificent, oh, magnificent, oh, oh...."

I wish I could save everything, but I can’t.

Just go…

and I’m sorry.

lveo. peace~

You don't know how beautiful you are.

  2. Isaiah says:

Why do you mourn so Joana? Don't apologize for who you are, despite the flaws. These U2 vids are awesome, almost like being there. And really, once you lose something, while its gone forever, its never lost. You share life and love with the cosmos, not just the ones here.

  3. missepic2003 says:

Isaiah, sometimes you just get into a funk and talking about it helps.

Yes, the videos. Make sure you check out Moment of Surrender from the Tampa concert. That was the one we were supposed to be at! And this song, "Vision over Visibility" was recorded from the audience. It's amazingly clear and close. You'd better clap with Bono's hand-clapping sequence! I love him.

    Go to the water, babes.

Another great blog – as – art/poetry post, Joana. Featured like you asked on http://www.facebook.com/elephantjournal— but really you do such amazingly unique, contemplative, appreciative work that we woulda done so anyway.

  7. missepic2003 says:

Thanks, ele. Sorry to be such a dork…and a dufus. Its just that you are so famous! …and I only wanted the feature because it would have a better chance of getting to Bono!
    viva la revolution!~jo

The Collage/Blog is wondrous. I particularly love the photo of the woman's knees by the window and the line about not giving up on the relationship/friendship beneath – a poignant combination of image and word.

  9. Isaiah says:

Catharsis, in other words, heals the soul? I agree, my friend. Though I do feel the tragedy and irony of it all, I believe that our self-talk, posted or private, directs and influences our frame of mind and heart.
Speaking of irony, those closest to the oil-drenched waves are unable to go to the water, because of noxious fumes and closed beaches….really??? Are we so intractable that we can't see how our dependence is driving the trade, and the disastrous consequences? Where are all the "drill baby brill" folks now?

  14. Mariana E. Wirth says:

Dear Joana, you ARE Americans, but you are part of the Special-Ones. You are not in the mainstream, thanks God, and that is good. I know that it doesn't feel comfortable many times, but it is exactly like it has to be. (It happens in all countries around the world). Keep going your own way, no other can do it. A big hug from Argentina!

  15. DaliaL says:

Hey Joana, it was so nice to talk after all this time… and facebook is still off for me, but maybe one day, when I am down under, I may see its virtues. For now much love and thanks for this beautiful blog…

  16. YogiOne says:

    Hi Joana,

I'm down here in Pearland loving this. Glad to know there is an ele in the area.

  17. Thank you so much for providing individuals with an extremely pleasant opportunity to read articles and blog posts from here. It really is very useful and jam-packed with fun for me personally and my office mates to search your site at the least three times per week to study the newest tips you will have. And lastly, I am actually fascinated with all the staggering guidelines you serve. Some two tips in this posting are really the simplest we have all had.
