Songwriter Chris Hickey Goes On Kerouac: Inspired Writing Spree

I recently wrote and recorded a song, each day, for about three weeks. The result is “Razzmatazz” (featuring “Kerouac”) – 16 songs, just vocal & guitar (and the wild parrots of South Pasadena), recorded in my bedroom on a hand-held voice recorder.

“I only recently discovered Kerouac and I agree with Allen Ginsberg when he said that Kerouac’s work is ‘The most sincere and holy writing I know of our age.”-Chris Hickey
