Just some simple quotes to help us all remember what giving really is…

The greatest gift you can give another is the purity of your attention.” Richard Moss quotes

If instead of a gem, or even a flower, we should cast the gift of a loving thought into the heart of a friend, that would be giving as the angels give. ~George MacDonald

It isn’t the size of the gift that matters, but the size of the heart that gives it. ~Quoted in The Angels’ Little Instruction Book by Eileen Elias Freeman, 1994

May Peace be your gift at Christmas and your blessing all year through! ~Author Unknown

The manner of giving is worth more than the gift. ~Pierre Corneille, Le Menteur

A hug is a great gift – one size fits all, and it’s easy to exchange. ~Author Unknown

About Aminda R. Courtwright

Aminda is a wellness facilitator and founder of ARCreated Wellness, LLC. A yoga teacher, transpersonal hypnotherapist, and Reiki Master, she shares her own healing journey with others in hopes of inspiring and uplifting those she meets. Her yoga classes are gentle and workshop style to invoke a real sense of learning and designed to be truly accessible for all levels. Her biggest hope is to help others take their yoga practice off the mat and into everyday life where it is truly meant to be experienced. (and can be most useful) Refusing to settle into the middle path just yet she prefers to dally on both edges and can be seen swinging right and leaning left. A devoted animal lover and activist and a humanist she is prone to rants and believes strongly that life is to be savored and that “we are all in this together, shouldn’t we enjoy it that way? “ When she isn’t teaching yoga, hypnotizing people, adoring her husband or doting on her grandson she is out riding her motorcycle—promoting the image that yogis are rebels and are a force to be reckoned with! Such a true comment. And the thing that really matters. Just this week I was reminded of this by
my beautiful wife. We are having some problems with one of my Son's Social security. He is a non-verbal
Autistic and even though I have a job, our private insurance wont pay for treatment of things he needs, So we
had no other choice but having him on Social security so we can get medicad. I am still not sure how that is all
going to play out, but I was very upset by it. Worried that we were not able to get him the stuff he needs to get the treatments to make his life better. My wife gave me a real eye opener, when I expressed my concerns.

We all ready give him what he really needs. And that is a family that loves him dear. While treatments might help for a faster improvement, without a family or people behind him that love him, there will be no improvement.

I thought that I was failing my son, because I wouldnt be able to get him the treatments he needs anymore, But those words reminded me, we give him exactly what he really needs. And its something that can never be taken from you, only given.
