Reflections 2010 is an interview series with leaders in the yoga and mindful living community. Hosted by Donna Freeman, the goal of these interviews is to encourage, inspire and get to know a little of the person behind the yoga mat. From holiday indulgences to favourite traditions and everything yoga in between, Reflections 2010 promises to add a wonderful element of caring and sharing to the holidays.

Faith Hunter

Beautiful in body and spirit, Faith Hunter is known for her inspiring vinyasa flow classes. Based in Washington DC, she reaches the world through her soul stretching and body balancing podcasts and workshops. We’ll talk about what it feels like to be featured on the covers of two major international yoga magazines, Yoga Journal and Om Yoga, as well as what it means to be “Spiritually Fly.” Faith will share insights on life and yoga gained while on her an amazing journey from graduate school & beauty pagent contestant to yoga teacher extraordinaire.

About Donna Freeman

Teacher, author and expert on yoga for kids and teens, Donna Freeman firmly believes that yoga can be done anywhere, by anyone, at anytime. She grew up in British Columbia, Canada but was introduced to yoga while living in Cape Town, South Africa during her nomad years. She is currently learning acroyoga with her kids and enjoys practicing tadasana while pumping gas or washing dishes. Bob Weisenberg describes her book Once Upon a Pose: A Guide to Yoga Adventure Stories for Children as indispensible.
