Ronald Reagan killed the Fairness Doctrine, thus spawning the one-sided, fear-mongering, bs-fest that is Rush Limbaugh and inevitably, FOX News.

Now I think I see why Palin called him “America’s lifeguard” (referring, of course, to Sarah Palin’s America).
Wondering what the Fairness Doctrine has to do with the environment? Read the links below.

Why is Glenn Beck peeing (and farting!?) in the pool? He must’ve read the links below.

Oh my God. You mean Reagan promoted free speech? Nasty old Hollyweirdo. What was he thinking? You mean people can actually watch and listen to what they want and not be force fed by the government? How could that ever work?

We need to phone up Castro and get the inside scoop on how to shut down that ugly free speech. We are very fortunate to have Mark Lloyd working at the FCC. The fairness doctrine is not enough for him! After all, as he told us in his own words, we should admire the way Hugo Chavez shut down the media in Venezuela so he could complete his wonderful revolution. Mark will save us from the free speech monster. And, if need be, we can crib from the CCP. Their program is wayyyy effective. Someone gets too uppity about free speech and they slap them in prison and beat the crap out of them. I mean whataya gonna do if people just won't shut up and listen? I mean you try to be nice and reasonable and sometimes they just won't behave…so whataya gonna do?

And that stunning Radio America bust. Now that was disgusting. People did not listen (how rude) and they went bankrupt. If we had the fairness doctrine, Jeannine Garofalo would still have a job. And people would be forced to pay her salary. Where do they get off thinking they have a choice in this matter? What is the matter with them that they do not appreciate her talent and think they should not pay her way?

Joe, you get them back in order. Stamp out free speech and free choice. It just makes people think they have a right to liberty and freedom and all that tacky patriotic stuff.
