And, no one wants custody of Glenn Beck.

This is as good as anything I’ve seen from Jon Stewart—a veritable surveyor’s symbol in the heart of the media and politicians’ angry rhetoric in the wake of the Giffords/Tucson shooting.

  1. Vic says:

The right wing in our nation suffers from Anti-social disorder. They can't even allow a decent, humane, sensible period of morning and shock to pass before continuing their illogical, divisive, hateful and mean-spirited discourse. It's a shame.

  2. TamingAuthor says:

The forgotten victim in this is the American public that has lost its ability to reason. The victim is the American public that gets its news from Comedy Central from smarmy smart as****. The victim is the American public that must listen to attacks on Sarah Palin because some young man with an extreme history of mental illness goes berserk. A young man who has nothing to do with Palin but who has a history with the Congresswoman he attacked.

What we need is discernment. http://tamingthewolf.com/blog/arizona-tragedy-nee

What we need is people who can see when they are being conned by political operatives who intend to incite division and unrest and strife, as it suits their political needs.

And Vic is a victim as he is drawn into delivering insults against an entire group of people prompted not by any right wing actions but by the actions of the left who jumped on this situation as though it were the key to 2012. Amazing that Vic cannot track who started the salvo of divisive, hateful, and mean-spirited discourse re this event… Paul Krugman is not a conservative, Vic. And neither are the others who tried to opportunistically distort this tragedy in order to engage in hate speech, such as vilifying Sarah Palin.

I hope Vic was there on the front lines when people were hanging Palin in effigy and delivering the most hateful speech possible against Bush and Cheney and others with whom they disagree.

Here's a little compilation that clarifies the origin of divisive and hateful speech in this country. Time to get with the facts and use discernment, because otherwise we are only going to see escalation of conflict. Who wants that? http://michellemalkin.com/2011/01/10/the-progress

  3. Discernment [dih-surn-muhnt, -zurn-]-noun: 1. Knowing better than to take anything Michelle Malkin says seriously.

Seriously, I've seen Malkin's presentations before, in which she pretends that the words of small time campus radicals are equivalent to those of major Republican politicians and leading conservative TV personalities.
    It's flat out embarrassing.
