Jorian Polis Schutz: “Varitan’s Illustrated Greek Myths.”

elephantjournal.com is proud to support publisher Jorian Polis Schutz (Congressman Jared Polis’ bro) and illustrator Federico Ulises Parolo’s amazing work. Check out the event tonight at 7:30 at the Boulder Bookstore, 1107 Pearl Street. The event is free and open to the public!

Varitan’s Illustrated Greek Myths is a beautifully illustrated and designed reinterpretation of twenty-two of the best-loved Greek myths with contemporary twists—intending to show that the Greek gods are not dead. Part science, part prose-poem, part social/moral treatise, this book captivates and inspires a new generation of readers, as well as older audiences that are eager for attractive new versions of the stories they loved growing up.

Jorian Polis Schutz is from Denver and is the editor of this collection. The illustrator, Federico Ulises Parolo, will also be in attendance.
