Grew up riding. Went riding. Saw this in stable. My Buddhist teacher says much the same thing as the above. Took photo. Says it all.

    I also suggest that readers educate themselves about the fate of American horses going to slaughter, unimaginable cruelty and suffering. Many people who have made the choice to eat only humanely raised and slaughtered animals have no idea of what happens to horses, and I felt it important to make this comment in light of the content of the post.
