I commend the sentiment and I look forward to his letter to the people of Afghanistan, where a thousand times as many civilians have been killed; or maybe one to the people of Iraq where a few hundred thousand civilians were killed; a fair proportion by US troops in both countries. Sorry, not that I'm a cynic or anything.
