Breath. Complexity. Resources. Greed. Fear. Rape. Anger. Beauty. Tragedy. Hope. Murder.

She’s Alive… Beautiful… Finite… Hurting… Worth Dying for.

This is a non-commercial attempt to highlight the fact that world leaders, irresponsible corporates and mindless ‘consumers’ are combining to destroy life on earth. It is dedicated to all who died fighting for the planet and those whose lives are on the line today. The cut was put together by Vivek Chauhan, a young film maker, together with naturalists working with the Sanctuary Asia network (

Fantastic Waylon, You've probably had the Earth Breathe you, if not come visit us in Crestone and commune with the ancient stone meditation seats dating back 15,000 years. Maybe you'll want to organize the Elephant Crew to join the moving planet event in September. Or, better yet, hang out with your Hero Bill McKibben in Washington D.C.

Here is a way for people who are moved by this posting to engage and show up!

Brilliant! Loved it! Can't wait for the day that more people realise what an amazing planet we live on and that materialism is not the answer; it only kills what is really important.
    Thank you for sharing.

  8. […] You are a barometer for how we are doing as a species. You are a canary in the coal mine of our culture, and are wrecked by violent movies and the news of pain and mistreatment of fellow humans, animals and the earth. […]

This film is very good. Thank you.. Some other films you may wish to add to your collection:
OVERVIEW : (soon to be out in 2014)
    ELEMENTAL (recently released) (
FALL AND WINTER (recently released) (

I sense a new type of enviro doc is emerging… Rather than the bad vs good, rotten news vs. the solutions information style that hounds the audience, the new ones (like above) have a sensitivity with longer pauses, including more of the life of the "activists" rather than their "speeches" or interviews.. and the soundtracks are mesmerizing and intelligent, more space including viewing what is being lost.. all for the new value of feeling what is happening. These are bringing us to our knees in a way, in a humbling way to shift consciousness, to be what we are meant to be doing and being, to shift in major ways and not wait until the crisis knocks on your/our/my door. Check out the trailers that Ive included assuming they will show up. Thanks
