Quote of the Day: Kurt Vonnegut.

“…this is a hard world to be ludicrous in,

with so many human beings so reluctant to laugh,

so incapable of thought,

so eager to believe and snarl and hate.”

~ Kurt Vonnegut

Reminds me of our comment sections, and…even worse, far worse, the comment sections on mainstream blogs, youtube, dailycamera.com (my local paper). ~ ed.

  1. Erica says:

    is that Colbert?

  2. DaveTelf says:

    definitely Colbert.

i hear my mother's voice suggesting that it might be more proper to say "a hard world in which to be ludicrous"… thereby avoiding the dreaded sentence-ending preposition.

but like usual, I agree w Vonnegut.
