Read all about Portlandia in this week’s New Yorker. I did. In the tub, in Boulder. Which, when it’s cooled down, I bucket by hand into my xeriscaped backyard. Seriously. Then, having dressed in “recycled” clothes, I bicycled downtown for a farm-to-table lunch with coffee from a women’s co-op, bought a free-range bison’s knee cap for my rescue dog to chew on, then shopped for organic, plastic-packaged groceries at my locally-owned grocery.
