Quote of the Day: How to Change the World in 260 Words.

Our created nature as human beings is like a blueprint…

‎”Within the human being there lives a flame of life that never really surrenders the possibility of wholeness, and never surrenders the possibility of fulfillment. We live in an age now where the way in which we’ve been doing things doesn’t really work anymore. It doesn’t work on a personal level; it doesn’t work on the level of families, villages and societies and; it certainly doesn’t work in terms of the planet. So we’ve kind of hit the wall—all of us—as a species.

And so where do we look? Where are the answers found to tap back into the sources of life and spirituality and being? Where is that found? Actually, we have to look back to ourselves, and we have to realize that all of the creative things that have ever happened in human culture have come from people; all of the changes at times of crisis have come from people, and that within us are all the resources of what we need to be.

Our created nature as human beings is like a blueprint, and the more we look into ourselves and the more we begin to trust ourselves on all levels, the more we’re going to actually find the way through. In other words, we need to cultivate a kind of open-ended relationship with our own state of being, and we need to begin to listen to the very deep and vast wisdom that each one of us contains within us—and it really is in every cell of our body.”
