…In India there’s kumbh mela a once in three years festival, that involves many official and unofficial asana demonstrations and competitions. There’s yoga federation of india that hosts national and international yoga championships. Even guruji said that third series of ashtanga and up is for “demonstration”. Presumably none of these people consider a certain ability to demonstrate your advanced practice a “joke” or being “against the core of the practice”. You’re entitled to your own opinion though, it’s just worth considering that it’s not superior or inferior opinion.”
