The great dilemma… John-flavored:

“Part of me suspects that I’m a loser and the other part of me thinks I’m God Almighty.”

(Via Tumblr)

“I really thought that love would save us all.”

“We announce the birth of a conceptual country, Nutopia.
Citizenship of the country can be obtained by declaration of your awareness of Nutopia.
Nutopia has no land, no boundaries, no passports, only people.
Nutopia has no laws other than cosmic.
All people of Nutopia are ambassadors of the country.
As two ambassadors of Nutopia, we ask for diplomatic immunity and recognition in the United Nations of our country and our people.”

I really think that love and work will save us all.

Tracy Freyre Wisneski ~ Work definitely has a lot to do with it. In fact, John Lennon was prone to temper, which is not so uncommon with people who love so deeply. Even he had work to do. God rest his soul that he was not given enough time to do it. However, the beauty and power of art allows people on the journey to share even more than what they have on the day to day. My own father had a complicated life and complicated personality, yet he shared The Beatles and other beautiful artful messages with me, even when they contradicted his day to day struggles. Those are the lessons that took root and lasted. I don't know if we will ever be "fully saved." I think the struggle is a lasting part of our reality. Without it, we would inevitably become complacent. It takes even more faith to keep it up when we know that it will never end. ♥

Stacia Wells Trask ~ The high semi-colon(ic) of life is this conjunction within ourselves–even John Lennon had to live in the deep humanity of the "and." The physical body of doubt AND the part that knows better. No wonder he was a FANBOY(s) of the spiritual, "but" not necessarily religious; the fiercely private, "yet" openly public, searching. "So" good; deep thanks.
