Green Smoothie Delight. ~ Anastasia Halldin

There is nothing better than a green smoothie after a yoga class or workout.

Green smoothies supply us with vitamins, minerals and other nutrients. When blended well, most of the cells in
green vegetables and fruits are broken, making the nutrients in green smoothies easy for the body to assimilate.

Green smoothies are in essence, nutritious food, as all the fiber is still present in them and not taken out as in green juices. Additionally, if you do not consume enough greens, smoothies can become an easy solution. Rich in chlorophyll, green smoothies oxygenate our blood, therefore preventing aging and disease.

Green smoothies are tasty and generally on the sweet side, as green vegetables do not dominate their flavor and fruits do.

All of the following recipes will turn out better if you have a high-speed blender. Each recipe yields about three cups.
