Okay, so it’s actually “Ride your Bike to Work Day.”

But imagine how different your year would be if you ditched the car at least a few times a week. We all know it’s cheaper and healthier for us to bike commute.

Want to know how much you’ll save if you make it a daily habit? Kiplinger’s has a calculator.

Every time you walk or bike somewhere instead of using your car, you keep a little money in your wallet—and add a few years to your life.
