I speak from experience
I am neither pure nor righteous
I slog through physical imbalance, mental unrest and spiritual yearning
I have beaten my head in anguish that I should, I should, I should
But I can look back and see how much light now shines in
And I have watched others and sought to assist those like me who seek that light
So I say to you that it has been my experience that when trying to divert a large current it is more effective to slowly bend its shores than to throw up a wall in the middle
