I want to see advertisements that are juicy, and thoughtful, and sexy, and evocative, and full of beautiful images.
I see too many that are tasteless and shameless in the way they treat me as a consumer. Advertising may not be a beautiful idea to begin with, but its standard of quality and intelligence seems to be declining.
This is one of my favorite ads, done by Bruno Aveillan. Never mind that it’s selling Magnum ice cream bars, the video is truly a piece of art.
