Softly. {Poetry} ~ Jyoti Wind

Softly

Softly,

against the shore line

of eternity,

I lap up against the sands

of my own immortality.

I ponder and muse,

taking my time

with my choices,

lest I cast into time

a path I won’t want

to follow.

Softly,

against the shore line

of eternity,

I see the infinitesimal

smallness

of all that I think

is huge.
