Allen Ginsberg’s Reading List for his Class, “Literary History of the Beats.”

Allen Ginsberg was an activist and student of Chögyam Trungpa. He helped found the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poets at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado in 1974. He taught there until his death in 1997. This is the reading list he handed out in his class, “Literary History of the Beats.”
