Embracing the “That Which is Not Yet Known.”

“Faith is why I’m here today and faith is why I made it through.” ~ Jonathan Anthony Burkett

I was struggling just a bit today, as I waited outside the yoga studio. My stomach was in knots, and dreading this class—the same one I had previously, so very much loved.

I had worried myself silly over the most insignificant of things—the “How will I ever manages” and the “I can’t wait ’til this is dones.”

It seems, I had lost myself inside this thought of having been away for way too long, that I hadn’t stopped to realize just how very far I had come.

Somewhere within that awkward stillness of dreading—I realized my journey had only really just begun.

It was such the most incredible reminder, to know that each moment is my chance to being once more.

That I should ‘dare to smile most gratefully‘ with the rise of each new morning’s sun.

And boldly step into doubt’s greatest of shadows—to embrace the ‘that which is not yet known.’

Look to this day:
For it is life, the very life of life.
In its brief course
Lie all the verities and realities of your existence.
The bliss of growth,
The glory of action,
The splendour of achievement
Are but experiences of time.

For yesterday is but a dream
And tomorrow is only a vision;
And today well-lived, makes
Yesterday a dream of happiness
And every tomorrow a vision of hope.
Look well therefore to this day;
Such is the salutation to the ever-new dawn!” ~ Kalidasa
