Acai Berry, the Siren

Acai is one of the healthiest little berries on the planet—as well as one of the most seductive.

Hailing from deep within the Amazon rainforest in Brazil, the captivating femme fatale of South America, she will lure you with her feminine antioxidant power and amino acid goodness. Her sexual prowess includes, but is not limited to: increasing blood circulation in the body, which contributes to a sex drive boost, especially in the male species.

She promises increased sexual energy and optimal sexual performance.

The Amazon Princess martini was simple to make, quite tasty and with such healthy ingredients, I didn't feel too bad about having a second one!

My partner and I have been trying to eat healthier for a while now and discover Acai berries somewhere along the line but actually being able to use them in nice tasting recipes has been a bit tricky so we really enjoyed a couple of your recipes, thanks.

  3. Lenny Polley says:

Acai berries are really healthful. It is rich in antioxidants called anthocyanins and better than blue berries, oranges, and other herbs. Anyway, I never thought it can also enhance sexual performance. This is really interesting. I can't wait to try this and let my husband drink a ton of these smoothies. 🙂

  9. Bill says:

Great recipes! I would however recommend a higher quality acai than the Sambazon brand. I've lived in Brazil and have been eating acai for over a decade and there are so many better brands out there than it. Look for frozen acai that does not add soy lecithin. Also, most top quality brands have darker colored acai, which indicates more anthocyanins, powerful antioxidants, and texture is not so runny as the sambazon stuff. It appears that sambazon adds too much water to their acai purees in order to make more money and focus on lower quality acai products like powders and juices. There are several options in stores near us and we used to be some better brands online also. Good luck!

  10. Aimee Hughes says:
