I went to my first Burning Man, this year. I heard a lot of Dub Step. Too much.

One day, with a girl dash friend, we were wandering about from yoga back to camp and…I heard the sounds of something that made me, finally, want to dance. We’d been lying around hammocks in the shade, taking a break…we were half asleep…and suddenly I’d run across the “street” and had made 10 new friends, and was dancing.

It was a thing called Electro Swing.

And here’s a video that’ll give you the bug: the set is amazing. The dance is amazing. The sounds, and their joy and humor and rhythm—make my tendons and sinews and heart tense and jump and rock and, yes: swing.

Enjoy: it’s hard not to.
