Fleet Maull

Fleet Maull is a man who has been through extremely scary and dark times and accomplished great things in the midst of some of life’s toughest circumstances. Undaunted and deepened, he works tirelessly for the good of humanity today with humility, intelligence and great heart. His passion lies in working at the nexus of personal and social transformation to discover and implement innovative solutions to some of society’s and the world’s toughest problems—crime and the failure of mass incarceration, homelessness, violence and genocide.

From jails and prisons, to university classrooms, to executive boardrooms and post conflict regions in Africa, Europe and the Middle East, Fleet’s message of compassionate accountability grounded in mindfulness and emotional intelligence has brought healing, transformation and new sense of possibility to thousands of people, young and old, from all backgrounds and walks of life.

As an empowered senior teacher in two profound meditation traditions, as an author, consultant, trainer and executive coach, he facilitates deep transformation for individuals and organizations through his Radical Responsibility™ philosophy and  trainings.

The Radical Responsibility model, the subject of a forthcoming book of the same title, challenges us to cut through the fog of victimization, blame, negative conditioning and self-imposed  limitations in order to awaken the clarity of purpose, personal freedom, and depth of integrity we need to realize authentic and powerful relationships in our personal and professional lives.

Drawing on his own path of profound transformation and more than 30 years of experience in mindfulness and transformational leadership training, Fleet leads over 200 days of training every year, providing mindfulness-based emotional intelligence training to CEO’s and business leaders, corrections professionals and prisoners, nonprofit leaders, professionals and clinicians and community leaders and activists around the world.

He guest lectures annually at Harvard University and is a frequent keynote speaker and panelist at national and international conferences. He has been interviewed widely in the radio and print media, including nationally syndicated public radio programs like Fresh Air and E-Town
