Judgmental Eyes. ~ Danny Maman {Poem}

Photo: hans van den berg

Lurking, judgmental eyes all around;

We walk the thin line between confidence and arrogance.
With all of our different paradigms,
What is my place in this world?

We are so quick to judge ourselves
For fear of judgment from others.
Too skinny, too fat, too stupid, too poor.
An illusion of perfection we try to achieve.
Via self-hate we find ourselves trapped with no where to leave.

But this life is beautiful as it is

In this moment, right here and now.
No more shame in self admiration.
So enough with the self hate.
It’s time to look in the mirror and say I love you.
It is never too late.
