White water rafting is arguably the most exciting outdoor activity that you can engage in.

Nothing can be more thrilling than white water rafting through rocks and open passages in a fast flowing river.

The adrenaline rush associated with this sport ensures that you will be thrilled from the start to the finish. The fast nature of white water rafting means that you will have to work as a team since one mistake can send you toppling over rocks.

If you are new to the sport you should not be worried since you can choose rivers that are calmer. The following are the best places for white water rafting:

The Zambezi is at the top of white rafting destinations in the world. This river which forms the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe has fast flowing rapids that are great white water rafting spots.

Apurimac River

This river is located in Peru, South America. It flows through tropical rainforests in its upper part. This causes it to have large volumes of fast flowing water.

Due to this white water rafting in the Colorado is one of the most enjoyable experiences in the world.

Chilko River

This river is located in British Columbia. The water flows at very high speeds down the Rocky Mountains. This creates rapids that are perfect for white water rafting. The white water rafting spots are surrounded by beautiful scenery that includes alpine forests and spectacular Mountain peaks.
