I believe everyone wants to be a hero in life.

To do something that comes from the heart level—from the depth of our soul—a loving service to the Universe that makes the world better and more beautiful.

To have this amazing feeling of passion and to be truly alive—this is what life is all about.

This only can happen when we make our lives about helping others and the world. We have gift or gifts we want to share with the world. Everyone does. The challenge is finding it buried below all society’s conditioning, or what you were told would make us happy in life.

One of the first steps in being a hero is to connect with who we are being every day of our lives, who we are being with the people we come into contact with and with life itself.

Are we bringing compassion, kindness, love and peace into the world? Are we being a hero mother and father to our kids?  A hero with a smile to the stranger we passed on the street?  Being a hero to the waiter who just served us, or the hotel maid who cleaned our room? Do we have a hero’s compassion for the homeless person on the street?

Choices are what make heroes.

Heroes decide everyday who they are going to be in this world. Every minute of every day. It’s a choice to be great and the greatest thing we can do to make this world better and more beautiful is to be more compassionate, kind, loving and peaceful every day of our lives.

Will we be perfect?

No!

Can we be a little better today than we were yesterday?

Yes!

That’s what it is to be a hero—to be just a little better, more authentic and truer to whom we are each and every day. The most amazing thing happens when we live our lives like this. We find our gift—our purpose for being here and the passion we feel as a result makes us come alive.

Can we be a better people today with love, compassion, kindness and peace?

Can we be loving parents today?

Can we be a compassionate husband or wife today?

Can we be a kind customer today?

Can we be a peaceful human being today?

Can we bring inspiration and joy to the Universe today?

Can we be a hero and make the world better today?

Are you willing to be a hero in your life?
