This Full Moon takes place on February 3rd, 2015.

Everyone’s got a little lion in them somewhere. On February 3rd, there will be a showy Leo Full moon that could help each of us tap into the side that wants to roar. Surprise, luck, love and fun will all take center stage.

The only caveat is that we might need to make a compromise or two to appreciate the benefits.

I really like this Full Moon because of the planetary mix shining in the sky. Leo dominates the stage as any lion should and his enormous presence will be hard to miss. His energy will liven up the mood and help us tap into our creative side. Opportunities for some plain ‘ol fun will be around too—if you’re in need of some lightening up.

This Leo Full Moon can help you let loose if you’re so inclined.

I’d throw some showy love into the mix too because lions really enjoy a good theatrical display of affection. If you’re in the mood for love of any kind, the planets will align perfectly and help to make it happen.

Venus, the planet of love, also makes an attractive show as she dances through one of her best signs—Pisces. She always works well in this sign—especially when it comes to matters of the heart. Lover boy, Neptune will be around too and he helps to set the stage for the possibility of “love at first site” or just a big fat love fest.

It’s not just about love either. Sudden opportunities and awareness could cross your path if you’re open to the possibilities. Uranus, the planet of awakenings and surprises will be working his magic behind the scenes. On top of that, the lucky and expansive Jupiter will throw in some extra beneficial juju, since he’ll be front and center stage with the Leo Full Moon.

Energy around will be so big it’ll be hard to miss.

There’s an important key to keep in mind, however, when you’re thinking about all this beneficial energy. The Sun, in Aquarius, will be opposing the Moon in Leo. This will create a push/pull effect as all Full Moons do.

Aquarius wants his way—the opportunity to work as a group—together. He’s all about the collaborative effort. Leo’s energy will be pulling in the opposite direction saying “I want the limelight for myself.” He’s all about the me factor. Compromise of some sort will likely need to play part in the mix. Finding the right balance between the two energies in your own life may test you a bit—but with all the benefits around I bet we’ll all find our way just fine.

Here’s a quick lowdown of how your sign might feel the effects of this Leo Full Moon. Something to also keep in mind is that Full Moons heighten awareness in certain areas of our lives (and I’ve mentioned each sign’s below). This energy can help us hone in on what we have to do in order to move forward.

Aries: Children, creative pursuits, fun, romance and perhaps speculative ventures are the focal point of your stage. A personal or creative undertaking that you’ve been working hard on may finally conclude with a positive twist. Resolutions may come about in situations regarding your children. If you were looking to get pregnant the stork could unexpectedly find you. A romance or fun endeavor could surface.

Taurus: Home and family play center stage for you. A family or real estate venture could come to completion. Situations with your parents or family life and finding the right balance between attending to them plus your work/career may surface. There’s also a twist of fate and karma in motion for you with this Full Moon. You could meet someone who you feel you’ve met before and have an instant attraction.

Gemini: Communications, connecting to others, siblings and short trips are the areas dominating your Full Moon scene. You may finalize trip details or embark on the ending of a trip. Conflicts with siblings or childhood friends could finally be resolved. You may feel a push/pull in communications with foreigners, religious institutions or schooling matters.

Cancer: Money and your values become your focal point. You may finally decide how to spend some money. Your values also become important here and what you find important—and most often things of non-monetary value prove to be of biggest value. You could come to a place where some long standing debts are paid off. Financial completion of some sort is possible for you.

Leo: This Full Moon is a personal for you but it can really help you put yourself out there if you’re looking to take a leap. Gaining new awareness on relationships and how you’re affected by them could also become a point of introspection. A recently formed relationship may come to a point now where you can decide if you’re in it for the long haul—or not. You could also gain new clarity on an existing relationship—love or business. You may also have recently decided to make some changes for YOU and this Full Moon will help you to see how these changes are taking effect.

Virgo: Deep is where this lion will you. Subconscious break-throughs and major awareness about long-standing hidden issues are really possible here. It’s likely that you’ve taken an introspective stance lately, diving deep and thinking about the undercurrents of your life. This Full Moon can help you gain some clarity and aha-moments.

Libra: Friends, groups you belong to and your deepest hopes and wishes could all come into play with this Full Moon energy. You could get some sort of monetary reward from your job or career or perhaps take on some additional work or more responsibility in a group. It’s also possible that you could feel a little freer by ending your association with a group or organization that you’ve been a member of for some time.

Scorpio: Career and place in the public eye is where you’ll be shining at the peak of this Full Moon. Your career may feel some sort of resurgence or get reenergized in some way. If you’ve been looking for a job things finally come to head here and you could unexpectedly land a nice opportunity. A project you’ve been working on for a while could also come to completion and you get some props for it. Someone’s taking notice of you in big ways.

Sagittarius: Travel, spirituality, education and legal matters are themes that revolve around this Full Moon. Perhaps you finalize some longstanding plans to take a trip or maybe you embark on one. Situations with foreigners or legal matters could come to a head and the ending may have a fortunate twist. A learning endeavor could culminate or maybe something comes to a point where you know where you need to go in something involving education. You could also gain some new clarity on spiritual endeavors or philosophies.

Capricorn: Joint finances, investments, inheritances and intimacy are at the center of your stage. You could decide to take a relationship to a whole new—more intimate—level. A revision of your finances or joint resources could come into prime focus.

Aquarius: Relationships or matters pertaining to your spouse/partner/close friend or business associates are front and center for you. Discussions about break-ups or the promise to become more committed may surface in some way or another. If you’ve been competing with someone over something you could have a run in with them—but it could prove fortunate for you.

Pisces: Your working/daily environment, co-workers, pets and health are the themes highlighted for you. A project for your work that you’ve been working on could culminate with some advantages. A pet matter or issue pertaining to a co-worker or someone you’ve hired to do a job for you could come to a close. Awareness about your health or a daily routine could come about.

Good luck with wherever your lion takes you with this Leo Full Moon. I believe that no matter how it plays out personally, there’s a real opportunity to strut your stuff and take a big stand for what you believe in. Of course—the luck factor thrown into the mix is always fun to look forward to as well.
