Mindfulness is a beautiful practice.

Before I developed a meditation practice and started studying the teachings of Thich Nhât HańH and Pema Chödrön, I had no idea how absent I really was in every moment of my life.

I thought I was living life to the fullest, because I was a spontaneous, impulsive risk taker. Boy, was I wrong.

The Buddhist teachings spoke to me loudly as I started my path to a different way of living—especially those of breath and mindfulness.

The beautiful part? Anyone can practice mindfulness, breathing and being truly present—which is why I write this.

We can spread love and mindfulness practices together.

I invite you to take a minute of mindfulness with me, in one of the most beautiful places in the world—next to the Merced River in the Yosemite Valley.
