Flowers protect against guns. Love protects against hate. Peace is the only protection against terrorism. It’s the only way forward. Merci beaucoup.

In watching this video I was able to pull at least 5 life lessons out of that 1 minute conversation. The father is teaching him:
- If they move, the terrorists win.
- You cannot fight fire with fire.
- Bad people can exist anywhere.
- When the child looks back at the father after he confirms that the candles and flowers protect, you can tell that he subconsciously realizes it’s in fact his father who protects, by teaching him these things.
- Love conquers all else.
