Welcome to November—the month of soulmates.

There is no such thing as coincidence, especially in terms of love.

During the month of November the astrological sun sign is in Scorpio—the sign of soulmates.

But this isn’t about astrology—this is about synchronicity.

Synchronicity is the belief that the universe works to provide us with signs that we are on the right track—or that we need to change direction.

Since the universe can’t speak to us directly, it’s up to us to be aware of the signs around us.

Signs can come as chance meetings, articles or quotes that seem timely—and even number sequences or initials.

Often times, the universe tries to communicate with us via number sequences on clocks or license plates.

One of the most well-known sequences is 11:11.

This sequence can come in a variety of forms, and can even be 11, 111, or 11111.

Seeing repetitive 1s is literally the universe setting off your internal alarm on high alert for a big wake up call.

But there is more to it.

11:11 also has a deep connection to soulmates and twin flames.

When we see this sequence, the universe is urging us to pay attention to our thoughts and feelings—to let go of thinking with our logical mind, and instead follow our intuition and our hearts.

It’s making the choice to feel our way through our questions, rather than think our way to the answers.

Really there is no way to use logic when we grow into love, because love is not quantitative.

It can’t be explained, and there are no rules to abide by or quizzes to take on the matter.

Love is the greatest mystery and while no one can actually ever see it, most of us do believe in it.

The paradox of love is that while it can be the greatest gift, it also can be the most arduous journey.

For while we all use the word “love” to express our feelings, it is different for each of us.

November is the 11^th month and on November 11^th the universe comes together to give us the ultimate cosmic wake up call.

But this time it’s a direct line to our hearts.

The universe has been working behind the scenes all year long, activating us through events and cosmic happenings, so that we can be challenged to live and love as authentically as we can.

It’s been a year of trial and error—of looking at everything that didn’t work, so that when we finally found something that did, we wouldn’t have any lingering doubts.

Because love isn’t blind—love sees it all and still chooses it anyway.

But no love story is great because it is easy, and sometimes when the going gets hard, we try to explain it away.

In affairs of the heart it is easy to use logic in place of intuition.

Some may suggest that there has been nothing special about the astrological forces at play this year. November is not just another month and it is no coincidence that the new moon will be on 11^th day.

In addition to believing in this, something deeper calls to us, telling us that maybe there is more at play than we can really see.

That possibly there is a whole world of occurrences and meanings that exist outside the boundaries of what the human mind can truly comprehend.

Because sometimes we become most afraid of what we don’t understand.

Our inability to understand is not what perplexes us, but it’s our failure to explain that often causes the greatest distress.

Unfortunately love is not a subject any of us can master.

Some aspects of life we are meant to learn, and eventually control, yet love remains the ultimate enigma.

There is no reason why certain souls call to one another, and there isn’t any explaining the desire or connection that exists between the lucky few.

This month we are being welcomed into the nest of synchronicity where everything seems to be coming together—possibly not perfectly, but in the way it was always meant to.

The universe is guiding us to embrace all of the aspects of our lives and our hearts that we have previously battled—we are being given the gift of clarity.

We have the ability to see ourselves for who we really are, and the lives that we want to lead.

It’s not about running away and making excuses, but taking the time to sit with ourselves and listen.

Listen to our heads, our hearts and most importantly, our souls.

November is truly the month of soulmates and whether we have found our soulmate or not, we can’t ignore the signs the universe are sending us this time.

But we do have to decide whether we are going to act upon them.

Because in the end, no matter how great the love story is, it always comes down to choice.
