Learning to Love. {Poem}

Twin flames. The push and pull can feel excruciating, but the growth, the pit that generates life, makes it all worth while.

This poem (with no rhyme or meter) was sent to my girlfriend during a difficult time when we were learning to communicate effectively on an emotional level.

Learn to Dance
We push and pull,
A delicate and violent dance.
Your toes under my feet,
We fall, we learn.
We love.
The steps become us.
No longer remembering,
The pain of learning to love.
