Full Moon Eclipse in Pisces: Will you Choose Love?

*Eleditor’s note: Astrology isn’t a religion. We’re not sure it’s a science, either. It’s magic, maybe. But, as with feng shui say, things affect things. So as long as we don’t go blaming our problems on the stars, as long as we assume responsibility for our own actions…well, hell, a little auspicious coincidence and applicable wisdom can’t hurt. And so, with that grain of salt…enjoy!

“It’s you. Every single time it’s you. I want to hold your head in my hands as my lips brush against the softness of your skin and I know you don’t need me, but you want me and I want you back and there’s nothing in this world that will stop me from choosing you every night before I fall asleep and every morning when I awake because there’s magic in the choice and I promise that every single day I’ll choose you. Always you.” ~ K.Towne Jr.

On Friday September 16th there will be a Full Moon eclipse in the watery, loving sign of Pisces.

This is the final lunar eclipse of the season, however its effects won’t be fully realized until the dust settles in October.

During each lunar cycle, there are similar themes that we all explore because of the aspects of the planets and what sign they find themselves in during a particular transit. The 9-9-9 portal regarding relationships just opened, as Jupiter the planet of expansion entered Libra, and many of us may be focusing on our love life.

During the past year, we’ve gone through some heavy terrain where we were asked to consider what we want from life and love—and how that may be in contrast from our current situation. One of the hardest mindsets for us to break free from is to go after want we want, rather settle for what we’ve been told will satisfy us.

This is not a one-time question, but a series of experiences in which we are given the challenge to see if we are ready to choose love above all else.

This type of love is not about negating our responsibilities, or losing our identity in a draining way–but rather making the choice to pursue the healthiest kind of romantic relationship. Who we choose as our partner says a great deal about where we are on our journey. At times, we choose people who are emotionally distant because we aren’t ready to be vulnerable, or we participate in relationships that aren’t fulfilling our needs because we don’t believe we deserve more.

The key to manifesting the love we want is to realize it’s the love we deserve.

During September, our hearts have been under a microscope—and while its been too much for us to deal with in the past, this time we welcome this eye opening experience to see what lies beneath our intimate connections.

It’s rare to stumble blindly into a union that truly serves our highest self. Instead, we have to go learn the tough lessons of being with someone who undervalues us or doesn’t connect with us on a deep emotional level. This is because we have to realize what we don’t want before we can recognize what is best for us.

There have been times this year when we thought we had it all figured out—at least that is what our egos told us. We’ve consciously chosen a path and stuck to it, because it seemed like the right decision.

It’s funny how things fall apart at exactly the right time.

It’s okay, because none of us have actually made any mistakes. Thankfully, we’ve arrived at a place where we’ve realized just how far off base we’ve been, and now choose to connect to our hearts and see beyond the fear we’ve been hiding behind for so long.

This Full Moon’s energy will be magnified, and because of Pisces’s romantic waves, we maybe blessed with choices in love.

Are you ready to let love into your life?

Are you ready to jump in with both feet and choose the love that inspires you?

And, are you ready to leave your past behind?

Leaving our past behind is difficult. The past is known—even if it’s full of unfulfilling chaos, it’s at least comfortable.

Yet, the truth is, just because we loved someone once doesn’t mean we are meant to love them forever.

This will be a good time to explore our own own readiness to receive love.

Once we make the choice to love, the next step is to take action. This can be one helluva scary experience because it’s a lot easier to choose the safety of inaction.

But the timing is right, even if accepting love seems daunting.

This isn’t if but when.

The really beautiful thing about where we are right now is that too much has already happened for us to go back to the past. We’ve grown—new experiences have opened us to new possibilities.

Even if we wanted to go backward, it’s no longer possible.

All we have right now is our presently reality—in this moment and with each other.

Inside each of our hearts there is a truth beginning to blossom and beat in accordance to our unique life pulse. It’s vibrating inside of our soul and its roots reach to new caverns of possibility.

The love you deserve will never be too good to be true, even if it may feel like it at times.

What you want is within reach—and it’s good timing to manifest our dreams into reality. All you have to do is ask yourself one simple question:

Will I choose love?
