The Banned Super Bowl Ad that We Needed to See.

The ending to 84 Lumber’s Super Bowl Commercial was deemed too “politically sensitive” to be aired and was cut.

However, it is a statement that we are all going to want to see.

If Trump built a wall between the U.S. and Mexico, this full version of the ad encapsulates what the result for many would be.

When asked about the intent for creating the commercial, the advertising company’s response was, “to generate national awareness…create pride in the work force, and fill jobs within the company.”

All these reasons seem valid, except Fox (the TV network hosting the Super Bowl) was uncomfortable with the controversial statement they thought this video might make.

But, for many of us, this ad contains a raw and honest message that will pull at our heartstrings in all the right ways.

Below is a story of a migrant mother and daughter and their attempt to enter America.

Before we side with fear against a language or a culture that is not our own, we should remember their journey may have been incredibly hard. They have earned the right to live and work with us, side by side.

In most of our ancestries, we too were immigrants at some time, of course.
